Manchester-based Knowsley SK has chosen Holbrook to provide them with the Access Dimensions accounting package.

Knowsley SK is part of the Dutch Group Intech NV, and supplies fire fighting equipment and systems to the oil, gas and petrochemical industries worldwide.

Company Secretary and Financial Controller John Snape said: "We have been using an ageing Unixbased accounting system and wanted to upgrade to a Microsoft platform.

"The Access package has greatly improved the efficiency of the accounting function and given us more flexibility for the future, enabling us to move from the basic accounting function to incorporate stock and bill of materials later this year."
