Since achieving the Investors in People (IiP) award 3 years ago, Holbrook has undergone a period of rapid growth, so it was with some satisfaction that they have this year retained the standard. Indeed they are also able to match the new and more exacting standards which have just been introduced.

In his report, IiP assessor Stuart Morgan concluded: "The quality of commitment showed through in all areas indicating that managers and staff were ready to share and listen to each other's point of view."

Mike Smalley received the IiPaward from Nigel Tomlinson, Chief Executive of Sheffield Chamber of Commerce who said: "Research shows that if you improve staff motivation and commitment, you improve productivity and overall business performance which has clearly happened in the case of Holbrook."
