Holbrook help one of the region’s most successful colleges

tollbar.jpgTollbar Business Enterprise and Humanities College originally founded in 1936 is one of only 104 colleges in the UK and the only one in North Lincolnshire authorised to run the International Baccalaureate (IB), which offers high quality programmes of international education as an alternative to A-levels.

Tollbar students have excelled in their GCSEs this year producing the best results in the college's history and the best results throughout the region,
placing Tollbar in the top division across the UK. Tollbar had been using Access Horizons since 1999, but the growth brought by its success began to push Horizons beyond its capabilities.

In particular, management reporting was time consuming, mainly being produced outside the system and accessibility to data was cumbersome. Holbrook provided the college with the award winning Access Dimensions, significantly upgrading outputs from the financial systems and enabling better reporting. Dimensions has greatly improved the efficiency of the school's data management and helped make their financial systems run more smoothly.

Chris Arthur, Vice Principal at Tollbar BEC, said: "We are a large school with more than 2000 pupils and have grown rapidly in the past few years. This
represents significant challenges when it comes to managing data and finance. "Our systems were in need of an upgrade and Holbrook helped us achieve this. The level of support they have given us has been fantastic and I am surprised more schools haven't taken this step before.

"The new systems put us at the forefront of technology and the benefits they have provided in terms of efficiency and functionality have been far reaching."
